The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education JKBOSE was established through a legislation under the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Act, 1975.
THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT, 1975 (XXVIII of 1975) dated: 27 August, 1975 Amendments under Reorganization Act, 2019 (34 of 2019) dated 5th of October, 2020 S.O.3466(E): In exercise of powers conferred by section 96 of the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganization Act. 2019 (34 of 2019).
